The Edo Community Kassel has once again, lived up to its billing by donating beds, pillows and mattresses to the Specialist Hospital, in Ossiomo-Ogan. The gesture was in fulfilment of the deliberation made by our members, to providing some comfort to the patients of the Leprosy home. The project was implemented on the 9th of July, 2012.Mrs Patience Edobor and Mr Emmanuel Edeku, representing Edo community e. V. Kassel delivered the items valued at the sum of €1600, 00 (One thousand Six Hundred Euros) or N330, 000.00 (Three Hundred and Thirty Thousand Naira) to the Specialist Hospital Leprosy department.
Receiving the gifts on behalf of the Hospital management, Mr Idele, an administrative officer there, thanked and prayed for members of Edo community, Kassel and adding that: “words are not enough to express our gratitude” over the contributed facilities. Subsequently, a letter acknowledging the aids was also sent to the Community by the Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr M. O. Igbinigie.
We give glory to God for giving us guidance and many thanks also, to all members of our community, for making it possible to fulfil the pledge made on behalf of these needy people.
